    摘要: A nonreciprocal circuit device having a circuit element on a dielectric substrate providing at least part of a low-pass filter, the nonreciprocal circuit device having less interference and irregular operation caused by spurious radiation, and in addition, with reduced insertion loss. A lumped constant isolator (an example of a nonreciprocal circuit device) includes a magnet provided for applying a DC magnetic field to a magnetic assembly, which in turn has multiple intersecting central electrodes provided adjacent to a ferrite body. A dielectric substrate is disposed in between the permanent magnet and the magnetic assembly. An inductor forming part of a &pgr;-type low-pass filter is provided as an example of a circuit element on the dielectric substrate, a dielectric layer or film being disposed between the dielectric substrate and the magnet.

    摘要: A nonreciprocal circuit device requires less layout space when single-board capacitors are used, and meets demands for a smaller and lighter configuration. An isolator (nonreciprocal circuit device) comprises a ferrite, a permanent magnet applying a direct current magnetic field to the ferrite, a plurality of central electrodes respectively having ports disposed on the ferrite and a single-based matching capacitor with capacitor electrodes formed on both surfaces of a dielectric substrate such that the capacitor electrodes are opposed to each other and sandwich the dielectric substrate. In various embodiments, the permanent magnet and/or; the ferrite has a square shape and the capacitor electrodes of the matching capacitors are arranged at an angle of 60 to 90 degrees with respect a mounting surface and the matching capacitors are disposed so as to surround the sides of the ferrite.

    摘要: A nonreciprocal circuit element having low insertion loss is provided. In the circuit element, three central conductors are disposed such that they intersect each other at specified angles in an electrically isolated condition and a DC bias magnetic field is applied to the intersection. The intersection angles formed by the central conductors are set to different values, corresponding to the rotation angle of the high-frequency magnetic field caused by the DC bias magnetic field. A stronger operating DC magnetic field than that in a conventional circuit element is used to reduce a ferrite loss.

    摘要: An antenna-integrated strip line cable with which it is possible to improve the performance of a high-frequency appliance such as a portable telephone without making the appliance larger. An antenna-integrated strip line cable 1 is made up of a transmission line part 2, an antenna part 3 and a counterpoise 4. The transmission line part 2 is made up of two conductors 21, 22 disposed in parallel, insulators 23, 24 having plasticity or flexibility disposed between these two conductors 21, 22, and a central conductor 25 disposed between the insulators 23, 24 centrally in the width direction thereof. Wide-pattern impedance matching circuits 26a, 26b are provided in the central conductor 25. The antenna part 3 has portions of the insulator 24 and the central conductor 25 extending from the transmission line part 2. The counterpoise 4 has portions of the insulator 23 and the conductor 21 extending from the transmission line part 2. The counterpoise 4 is perpendicular to the antenna part 3 and the length of the counterpoise 4 is about one-fourth of the wavelength .lambda. of the frequency used. Some benefits of this novel construction are that the number of parts is reduced, the work of connecting a coaxial cable to an antenna is made unnecessary, the counterpoise reduces directivity of the antenna part, the antenna is tough, and it is not necessary to provide an impedance matching circuit externally.
