    摘要： A process cartridge and an image carrier supporter for use in an image forming apparatus. The image carrier supporter temporarily fixes an image carrier inside a process cartridge of an image forming apparatus. The image carrier supporter includes a penetration shaft, and first and second fixing members. The penetration shaft includes first and second ends, and penetrates through a center throughhole of the image carrier. The first and second fixing members are provided at the first and second ends, respectively, of the penetration shaft, and are configured to closely contact a circumferential inner surface of the image carrier and a frame of a process cartridge, respectively. The process cartridge is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the image forming apparatus, and includes a frame, the image carrier, the image carrier supporter, and a process mechanism configured to form an image on the image carrier.

    摘要： A process cartridge and an image carrier supporter for use in an image forming apparatus. The image carrier supporter temporarily fixes an image carrier inside a process cartridge of an image forming apparatus.     摘要： A recovered toner classifier includes a rotatable cylindrical-shaped filter and a fur brush having a brush spirally provided on an outer peripheral surface of a rotation shaft. A non-brush region is continuously formed from the inlet of the filter for the recovered toner through the outlet of the filter for discharging the disposal toner along the axis line of the rotation shaft. The fur brush integrally rotates with the rotation shaft with a tip portion of the brush is in press-contact with an inner peripheral surface of the filter. A screw conveyer having a screw on a portion of the rotation shaft on a side of the inlet of the filter for the recovered toner is provided to convey the recovered toner to the inlet of the filter for the recovered toner.

    摘要： An image forming apparatus including a cleaning device for removing toner, paper dust and other impurities left on an image carrier after image transfer with a cleaning member is disclosed. The cleaning member contacts the surface of the image carrier with variable pressure and remains, about the time when the image carrier stops moving after image formation, in contact with the surface with pressure lower than pressure capable of scrapping off the impurities. Before movement for image formation, the image carrier is driven in a reverse direction opposite to a forward direction assigned to image formation, stopped, and again moved in the forward direction and then in the reverse direction at least one time.
