    摘要: A method is provided for estimating the quality of experience of a service provided over a communication network from activities performed by a user in the fruition of the service. The method comprises: subdividing a user session of the service into a number of time intervals; determining a number of events indicative of the activities performed by the user during a time interval of the number of time intervals; and on the basis of the events, calculating an index indicative of the quality of experience of the service in the time interval.

The method comprises: subdividing the area into a number of pixels; selecting an observation period and subdividing the observation period in a number of time sub-intervals; acquiring a data set associated with the pixels during the observation period; on the basis of a sub-set of data of the data set, the sub-set of data being associated with the identified one or more typical time-subintervals of the observation period, applying a clustering algorithm to partition the pixels into a number of clusters, each cluster comprising a respective group of pixels associated with similar trends in the resource consumption and/or in the presence indicator; and allocating resources to a cluster of the number of clusters on the basis of the trends.

    摘要: A method for estimating a quality of experience of a user receiving an information content stream distributed through a telecommunications network is provided comprising: generating a user behavior model, depicting a behavior of the user in the interaction with the telecommunications network; implementing the user behavior model by selecting combinations of user behavior; providing monitoring units adapted to perform measures on specific parameters of the information content stream; setting the monitoring; assigning to the monitoring units test cycles comprising interaction operations with the telecommunications network; generating for each monitoring unit a corresponding script to be executed by the monitoring unit; at the monitoring units, carrying out the test cycles by running the generated scripts, and carrying out measurements on parameters of the information content stream received in response to the test cycles to obtain acquired measured values, and calculating quality of experience indicators by processing the acquired measured values.
