摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for processing communications. In one aspect, a method of processing Flex Ethernet (FlexE) data comprises receiving a plurality of data blocks over at least one physical layer connection, each data block corresponding to one of at least one FlexE client flow, wherein data blocks corresponding to a first client flow of the at least one FlexE client flow have a destination over at least one further physical layer connection and contain Ethernet packets and Operation, Administration & Management (OAM) blocks, forming at least one further Ethernet packet containing at least one of the OAM blocks, the at least one further Ethernet packet specifying the destination, and providing the at least one further Ethernet packet to a switching node for forwarding to the destination.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for communication between a radio equipment and a radio equipment controller are disclosed. According to an embodiment, a first transport equipment detects a bit rate of one of a radio equipment and a radio equipment controller. The one of the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller is connected with the first transport equipment through a first common public radio interface (CPRI) link. The first transport equipment locks a working bit rate of a first CPRI port of the first transport equipment to the detected bit rate. The first transport equipment generates a message indicating the detected bit rate and sends the message to a second transport equipment that is connected with the other of the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller through a second CPRI link.

摘要: A method for energy saving in a communication network is provided. The method is implemented by a first network device in a communication network. The first network device may be communicatively connected to a second network device by a FlexE group. The method may comprise measuring a traffic rate of one or more FlexE clients carried over the FlexE group, and determining whether one or more PHYs of the FlexE group is to be shut down or activated based on the measured traffic rate and a first shutdown threshold or a first activation threshold.
