摘要： A card connector includes a main housing having a base portion, a pair of side walls and a bottom wall connecting with the base portion and side walls thereby defining a receiving cavity. Multiple groups of contact sets comprise at least one grounding contact. The contact sets have contacting portions projecting into the receiving cavity. A metallic shell covers a top side of the main housing and defines an insertion opening together with the main housing. A pair of guiders are floatably assembled on opposite sides of the insertion opening for guiding different sized cards. A grounding plate which is attached to a bottom side of the main housing, comprises a pair of flexible tangs respectively pressing against a bottom side of the guiders. The grounding plate further comprises a grounding section electrically contacting with the at least one grounding contact so as to establish a grounding path.

摘要： A card connector (100) includes a terminal module (2) and an insulating housing (3). The terminal module has a body plate (20) and a plurality of first terminals (21) received in the body plate. The insulating housing associates with the terminal module to define a card slot (6) and a direction of a card inserted. A plurality of second terminals (5) are retained in the insulating housing and suspend in the card slot. Each second terminal includes a tail section protruding out of the card slot, an engaging section projecting into the card slot to engage with the selecting card, and a suspending section connecting the tail section and the engaging section. Each engaging section comprises a lead point at the free end thereof. Wherein the body plate of the terminal module includes a protection wall face (2092, 201) having an upper surface (2091, 200), and the lead points of the terminal are arranged behind the protection wall face and under the upper surface of the protection wall face along the direction of the card inserted.

The insulating housing has a rear wall and a pair of arms extending from lateral ends of the rear wall; the ejector is received on one of the arm and comprises a slider movable in a card insertion/ejecting direction, a spring and a guiding pin, the slider defines a heart groove on an outside surface thereof, and the guiding pin and the heart groove forms a locking member to lock the slider in a final position. The pressing member has a retaining portion and a pressing portion, the retaining portion is retained to a bottom surface of the insulating housing by a hot-melt way, the pressing member presses the guiding pin toward the heart groove to prevent the guiding pin from jumping out from the heart groove.
