    Abstract: Passive dehumidifiers for environmental control units (ECUs) are presented. In embodiments, the passive dehumidifier may include a plenum with an intake to receive an airflow with moisture (e.g., water droplets, water vapor, etc.) present. Upon entering the passive dehumidifier, the airflow may experience a reduction in inertia and a change from a first direction to a second direction. The directional change may be sharp enough (e.g., greater than 90 degrees) that the moisture in the airflow are not able to follow the airflow and are instead directed to impinge and be collected on a collector wall, which may include one or more hydrophilic surfaces facilitating the impinged water droplets to form a liquid film upon impact on the collector wall. The film may collapse due to gravity and may be drained out through and/or on a hydrophilic screen mesh (e.g., hydrophilic screen mesh surface) on the collector wall surface(s).

    Abstract: A rotor system for a rotorcraft includes a rotor hub having a plurality of blade grips coupled thereto. Each blade grip has a rotor blade coupled thereto. A fairing is disposed at least partially around the rotor hub. Each of a plurality of lead-lag dampers is coupled to at least a respective one of the blade grips. Each lead-lag damper has a damper heat exchanger and a fluid pump operably associated therewith. A fairing heat exchanger is in fluid communication with the damper heat exchangers and the fluid pumps. Each lead-lag damper is configured to drive the respective fluid pump responsive to damping operations to pump a cooling fluid from the respective damper heat exchanger to the fairing heat exchanger.

In embodiments, a muti-way valve includes an intake configured to receive an airflow as in input to the muti-way valve, a plurality of outlets, each of the plurality of outlets configured to provide at least a portion of the airflow as an output of the muti-way valve, a gate assembly including a gate opening configured to allow air to flow through the gate opening, and an actuator configured to move the gate assembly to a position configured to allow the airflow to concurrently flow through the gate opening to a first set of outlets of the plurality of outlets while preventing the airflow from flowing to a second set of outlets of the plurality of outlets.
