Abstract: The present disclosure is concerned with methods of treating disorders associated with overexpression of an eyes absent (EYA) protein such as, for example, vascular disease, a fibrosis-related disorder, hearing loss, and a metabolic disease using quinazoline-2,4-diamines. Also disclosed are methods of treating cancer that comprises a tumor that overexpresses at least one eyes absent (EYA) protein (e.g., breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, pediatric cancers). This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
