Abstract: The current disclosure describes therapeutic methods for treating cancer by inhibition of G protein-coupled receptor 132 (GPR132) in the tumor microenvironment. Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for reducing and/or inhibiting cancer cell proliferation or tumor growth in a subject having cancerous cells or tumor growth, the method comprising administering an effective amount of an agent that inhibits GPR132 to the subject.
