摘要： Antiperspirant application devices including antiperspirant compositions and methods of using the antiperspirant application devices are provided herein. In an embodiment, an antiperspirant application device includes a skin-adhesive, transdermal patch including an adhesive compound capable of adhesion to human skin and an antiperspirant active compound based upon an astringent metallic salt disposed within at least a portion of the skin-adhesive, transdermal patch.

摘要： A mixed powder antiperspirant and methods for producing and using such mixed powder antiperspirants are provided. The method includes mixing an active ingredient, a film former, and a diluent to form the mixed powder antiperspirant. The use of a coating agent is limited to no more than about 10 weight percent based on the total weight of the mixed powder antiperspirant, where a coating agent is (i) any non-water soluble wax, oil, fat, or fatty alcohol with a straight chain alkane or alkene group of 10 or more carbon atoms, (ii) polyethylene, or (iii) cyclomethicone.

摘要： Materials and apparatus are provided for controlling a release of a cleaning agent with silica particles. Silica particles are disposed within a premix of a solid material and are configured to at least partially dissolve in an alkaline environment. Further, an active cleaning agent sorbed by the silica particles is configured to be released from the silica particles upon partial dissolution of the silica particles.
