摘要： A steerable axle assembly for a floor-type industrial vehicle, preferably a fork-lift truck, comprises an elongated axle body in the form of a housing having a box-shaped profile within which the tie bars and other important parts of the steering mechanism, e.g. a hydraulic cylinder for operating same, are provided. The axle housing is open to one side, preferably forwardly or rearwardly.
