摘要： A method for assisting a user to clear a media jam in a printing device, that provides text-based instructions responsively to detecting the media jam; provides video-based instructions responsively to detecting the media jam; and, activates visual indicators corresponding to select parts of the printing device responsively to the detected media jam; wherein the text based instructions, video-based instructions and activating each communicate a common resolution procedure for the detected media jam.
