    摘要: Unique spherically shaped insecticidal hydrogel feeding spheres are described comprising insecticide active, food source, optional adjuvant, water, and super-absorbent polymer. The large discrete spheres with diameters of about 2 mm to about 6 mm are made possible by the use of coarse dry granulated polyacrylamide/acrylates copolymer having particle size of from about 1 mm to about 4 mm. The insecticidal hydrogel bait spheres may be placed out in the environment to control insects without the need for a bait station enclosure. The present invention also comprises a method for producing the large discrete bait spheres.
