Abstract: A lid for a cargo carrier having a reinforced front portion for reducing a flexibility of the lid at least in the reinforced front portion. The reinforced front portion includes a reinforcing structure. The reinforcing structure includes at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections. Each of the at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections extends along or is defined in an inner surface of the lid and has a different main extension direction. At least two of the at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections cross each other and each of the at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections extends along a path defined by a differentiable function.
