Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cargo carrier for a vehicle, in particular a rooftop cargo carrier, for stowing goods to be transported therein. The cargo carrier comprises a base and a lid, which are moveable with respect to each other to adjust the cargo carrier between a closed and an open state. Further, the cargo carrier comprises an air channel for purging air from an interface region formed between the base and the lid in the closed state at a front portion of the cargo carrier, preferably to reduce a force caused by a headwind that acts to spread the base and the lid apart in the interface region.

Abstract: A load carrier for a vehicle adapted to be mounted on the vehicle for transporting a load. The load carrier includes at least one pivot arm pivotably connected about a pivot axis to a base frame at a pivot connection portion. The at least one pivot arm is pivotable between an operative position and a storage position. The load carrier is adapted to at least partly carry the load when the at least one pivot arm is positioned in the operative position. The load carrier can include a locking mechanism for securing the at least one pivot arm in the operative position and in the storage position.
