    摘要: An input apparatus of the resistive type that is thinner and more durable is provided. The apparatus includes a first substrate having a conductive film on which a plurality of slits are formed in stripes, and a second substrate spaced apart from the first substrate at a fixed distance to face the surface of the first substrate implementing the conductive film. This second substrate has a conductive film formed on the surface facing the conductive film of the first substrate. A driving voltage is applied between two predetermined points on the conductive film formed on the first substrate. An electric potential of the conductive film formed on the second substrate is detected when the two conductive films come into contact.

    摘要: Laser etching is used to form channels which divides a conductive film adhered on a board of a touch panel into a plurality of regions of desired form. A conductive film damage preventing element is attached on the board of the moving-side panel of a pair of panels or the double-faced tape to join them at their perimeters, to prevent damage by the edge of the double-faced tape. A re-usable adhesive layer having 90-degree peel off power of 5 g to 500 g/25 mm is used to adhere optical material on a surface of the panel.

    摘要: In a coordinate detection apparatus, a resistance-film is formed on a substrate made of an insulating material. A common electrode applies a voltage to the resistance-film, the common electrode extending along a plurality of a resistance-film removal areas formed by removing portions of the resistance-film. A voltage application part applies the voltage to the common electrode. The voltage is applied from the voltage application part to the resistance-film through the common electrode to generate a potential distribution in the resistance-film. A coordinate position of a contact position at which the resistance-film is contacted is detected by detecting a potential of the resistance-film at the contact position.

    摘要: A touch panel including an upper electrode plate including a plastic film base plate and a transparent conductive film provided on a first surface of the plastic film base plate; and a lower electrode plate including a glass base plate and a transparent conductive film applied to a surface of the glass base plate. The upper electrode plate is combined with the lower electrode plate with respective transparent conductive films thereof being opposed to and spaced from each other at location allowing electrical contact therebetween. The upper electrode plate also includes an upper glass plate arranged along a second surface of the plastic film base plate, opposite to the first surface on which the transparent conductive film is provided. An adhesive layer is provided between the plastic film base plate and the upper glass plate, for fixing a first surface of the upper glass plate, in its entirely, to the second surface of the plastic film base plate.
