摘要: Methods of implanting a prosthesis to repair a joint include exposing a first bone of the joint; resecting an end portion of the first bone to form a resected end defining a resection plane; forming a concavity in the resected end portion of the first bone using a shaping tool, the concavity extending at least through a full hemispherical arc; selecting a diameter of the prosthesis to be implanted; and implanting a prosthesis having the selected diameter in the concavity.

摘要: An orthopedic milling burr includes a hub, wherein the burr is configured for rotation about an axis of the hub, the hub including: a bore adapted to receive an orthopedic guide pin, wherein the bore is centered on the axis of the hub and passes axially through the hub; a transverse slot that extends axially through the hub's length connecting a proximal end of the hub to a distal end of the hub and providing an opening to the bore; a milling body that extends transversely from the hub and consists of a crown portion spaced radially from the hub and connected to the hub by one or more radial lugs; and a counterweight portion that extends transversely from the hub and arranged diametrically opposite the crown portion.

摘要: This shoulder prosthesis glenoid component (2) has on one of its faces an articulation surface (SA) adapted to cooperate with a humeral head and having, on an opposite face (SG) adapted to be immobilized on the glenoid cavity (G) of a shoulder, a keel (4) for anchoring it in the glenoid cavity (G). This keel (4) comprises a body (5) that extends from the opposite face (SG). The keel (4) comprises at least one fin (6) projecting from the body (5) 2 which runs over at least a part of the perimeter of the body (5).
