摘要： A household flatplate ironer comprising two cooperating pressing plates, the upper one of which is lowerable onto the lower one by means of a supporting arm and a counterpoise, is provided with means for re-opening the ironer automatically after it has remained closed for a predetermined period of time, thus affording an article of laundry being ironed to cool off without suffering damage from overheating.
