摘要： An exterior rearview mirror for vehicles, in particular motor vehicles. The exterior rearview mirror has a mirror housing with a mirror glass, which is mounted on a mirror glass support and is encompassed by a frame. The exterior rearview mirror is provided with signal lamps, area lights, and indicator lights that are situated in the mirror housing or in the mirror base. In order to permit a simple, inexpensive installation of a lamp into the exterior rearview mirror so that it does not take up much space, at least one lamp of a built-in light is accommodated in the frame. The lamp, which is fastened to the frame in a non-detachable way, can be accommodated in the frame in a simple, space-saving way and held there securely. The exterior rearview mirror is particularly suited for motor vehicles.

摘要： An exterior rearview mirror has a mirror head carrier and a mirror connected to the mirror head carrier. A cover is slipped onto the mirror head carrier. A spring secures the cover to the mirror head carrier in an unstressed position of the spring. The spring has at least one locking member and the cover has a counter locking member, wherein the at least one locking member engages the counter locking member to secure the cover at the mirror head carrier. The spring has a securing latch securing the spring in an elastically compressed position, wherein the spring in the elastically compressed position releases the cover.

摘要： An exterior rearview mirror for motor vehicles has a mirror base and a mirror head mounted thereon. A drive motor is provided to move the mirror head from a position of use into a parking position. The drive motor is connected to the mirror base by being snapped into place on the mirror base in a direction of insertion; preferably a locking plug-in connection is used for this purpose. The plug-in connection has receptacles on the mirror base and counter members on the motor that are received in the receptacles, respectively.
