Abstract: A device may receive information regarding a communication session associated with a user device and may determine, based on the received information, a type of communication session associated with the communication session. The device may determine, based on the determined type of communication session, handover parameters associated with the communication session and may transmit the handover parameters to the user device. The device may receive information associated with the signal information for one or more other devices and may initiate, based on the received information, a handover operation associated with the user device.
