    Abstract: A compartment assembly for a refrigerator includes a housing subassembly defining a generally enclosed area, an air outlet in fluid communication with the enclosed area, and a divider unit separating the enclosed area into first and second compartments. The divider unit includes a central wall aligned with the air outlet and exposing respective portions of the air outlet to the first and second compartments. A flap is disposed within the air outlet and is rotatable about an articulation point aligned with respect to the central wall and with a body of the flap extending in an upstream direction within the air outlet. A control element is mounted external to the enclosed area and is operably coupled with the flap to drive rotation thereof.
