Abstract: A cooktop assembly includes a cooktop support with side frame members, a first support bracket, and a second support bracket. A glass cooktop is coupled to the cooktop support such that the lateral edges of the glass cooktop cover substantially all of the side frame members, giving the appearance of the glass cooktop extending to the edges of the cooktop assembly. The glass cooktop couples to the frame member utilizing adhesive and/or tape. The cooktop support can be used with ovens that have front or rear controls.
