    摘要: Zinc coated steel strip is produced by passing a strip through a molten zinc bath containing from 0.15% to 0.18% aluminum, controlling zinc coating weights to produce a relatively light coating of 0.20 oz./sq.ft. maximum on one side and a relatively heavy coating of 0.20 oz./sq.ft. minimum in the other side, and then uniformly heating both sides for a time and temperature sufficient to completely form an iron-zinc alloy on the light coated side and yet retain the essentially unalloyed zinc coating on the heavy coated side.

    摘要: A vehicle lighting system receives power from a power supply and includes a lighting control module, a lamp, and a ballast having a bias control circuit. The lighting control module provides a remote enable signal to the ballast in response to an input. The bias control circuit of the ballast receives a supply voltage from a power supply and the remote enable signal and selectively energizes a bias regulator circuit of the ballast as a function of the remote enable signal. When the bias regulator circuit is energized, a controller of the ballast operates the ballast to provide power from the power supply to the lamp.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a circuit arrangement for driving a high-pressure discharge lamp (14) having a terminal (1) for a first voltage potential; a terminal (2) for a second voltage potential; a terminal (4) for feeding a starting voltage; a first electrical connection, which provides at its first end a first terminal (26) for a high-pressure discharge lamp (14), and which is coupled at its second end to the terminal (1) for the first voltage potential; a second electrical connection, which provides at its first end a second terminal (28) for a high-pressure discharge lamp (14), and which is coupled at its second end to the terminal (2) for the second voltage potential; a first inductor (30) that is arranged in the second electrical connection; and a starting device (24) that is coupled on the input side at least to the terminal (4) for feeding a starting voltage, and that is coupled on the output side to one of the terminals (26; 28) for the high-pressure discharge lamp; there being arranged in the first electrical connection a second inductor (32), which forms a current-compensated choke (22) (common mode choke) together with a first inductor (30).
