摘要： According to one embodiment, a phrase similarity is reduced when a common genre characteristic word is included in a program of interest interested by a user and a similar phrase program including the same phrase. A genre similarity is increased when a common genre characteristic word is included in the program of interest and a similar genre program including the same genre as the program of interest. The similar phrase program is presented based on the phrase similarity, and the similar genre program is presented based on the genre similarity.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a content database stores one or a plurality of contents and meta data thereof. An input unit inputs at least one keyword. A generation unit generates virtual meta data of a virtual content. A virtual meta data includes one or a plurality of items. An extraction unit calculates a relevance ratio between the virtual meta data and the meta data of each content, and extracts at least one relevant content from the content database, of which meta data is relevant to the virtual meta data based on the relevance ratio. A decision unit decides a location to display the relevant content based on the relevance ratio. A display unit displays the relevant content at the location. The generation unit generates the virtual meta data by writing the keyword into at least one item of the virtual meta data.

摘要： In an embodiment, an illuminating device includes a light source, a light source control unit, an estimation unit, a first calculating unit, and a second calculating unit. The light source includes light emitters, each having a different spectral distribution. The light source control unit determines an emission intensity of each of the light emitters. The estimation unit estimates a spectral reflectivity of an object. The first calculating unit calculates a first evaluation value, indicating an adequacy of a color of the object visually perceived, based on the spectral distributions and the spectral reflectivity. The second calculating unit calculates a second evaluation value, indicating how much an influence is given by the illuminating light to factors other than a visual sense. The light source control unit determines the emission intensities by which the first evaluation value and the second evaluation value satisfy a restraint condition determined beforehand.
