Abstract: An element to be integrated in a guide rail for a sliding roof of a motor vehicle, having a vertical wall and a flange surface which protrudes from the vertical wall and is configured to be screwed to a guide rail and to a frame part of the motor vehicle, wherein in an operationally mounted state, the flange surface points in the direction of an outer side of the vehicle, and the flange surface tapers in the direction of the vertical wall with respect to a main direction of extent of the vertical wall. According to other embodiments, a roof arrangement and a motor vehicle are provided.
