摘要: Connector housings are stacked vertically in multi-steps. The connector housings include lock claws at both of side parts thereof. The lock claws of the connector housings engage with the lock claws of another connector housings by flexure deformation of mounting parts of the lock claws for integration of the connector housings. The connector housings have protrusions and recessed parts at the mounting parts thereof. The protrusions of the connector housings are fitted with the recessed parts of another connector housings. The mounting parts are prevented from deformation.

摘要: A terminal cover for protecting the terminal held by an insulator is provided, by which a deterioration in the production yield of a wiring harness is prevented. The terminal cover 10 protects a tab 37 of a pressure-welded terminal 30 for use in a joint connector, which is held by a housing 40. The housing 40 has a plate body 42 and a pair of guide projections. The housings 40 are laminated to each other being held by holders 51. The terminal cover 10 has a cover body 11, a tab-protecting member 12, a pair of releasing projections 14 and so on. The cover body 11 is mounted by being nipped between a pair of the guide projections 42c. The tab-protecting member 12 has a protecting projection 18 which situates the tab 37 between a bottom wall 42a of the plate body 42 and the protecting projection 18. The releasing projection 14 has an inclined surface 20, which enlarges a space between a pair of the guide projections 42c when the housing 40 having the terminal cover 10 thereon is mounted in the holder 51.

摘要: A joint connector includes a metal fittings assembly 110 and a housing 120 for fitting the assembly 110. The assembly 110 consists of two terminals 110A, 110B each having a band-shaped carrier 140 and a plurality of terminal units 130 connected to the carrier 140 through a joint portion 137. In the assembly 110, the terminals 110A, 110B are laid to overlap each other while the terminals 110A, 110B are shifted from each other in a predetermined length in the longitudinal direction of the carriers 140 and the carriers 140 are welded to each other. By bending the joint portions 137 of the upper terminal 110A by a plate thickness of the carrier 140 of the terminal 110B, it is possible to position the adjoining terminal units 130 of the terminals 110A, 110B in an identical plane.

摘要: The present invention aims to provide a crimp connector wherein a crimp contact inserted in a connector housing 11 can surely be fixed to the proper position and thereby contact reliability can be enhanced in the case of being connected with a coupling connector. According to the crimp connector 10 of the present invention, since a protrusion 14 formed on the crimp contact 13 is bent after having inserted the crimp contact into a contact slot 12, the crimp contact can be surely fixed to the proper position. Therefore, not only can contact reliability be enhanced in the case of being connected with a coupling connector, but also a misoperation can be excluded during crimp-connecting an electric wire W with a crimp punch. Moreover, since a receiving stand which is an integral part of a connector housing can be utilized during bending a protrusion, a shape of the bent protrusion may be uniform, holding force fo the crimp contact may be increased, and any chance of a fracture by unusual deformation can be eliminated.
