Abstract: A method of treating a hematological malignancy associated with an altered RUNX1 activity or expression is disclosed. The method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of an agent which directly downregulates an activity or expression of RUNX1, thereby treating the hematological malignancy associated with the altered RUNX1 activity or expression.
