Abstract: Provided is a deformation tester where a specimen is deformed after starting and can be observed and analyzed in any deformation state without removal. The tester includes: a detachable part repeating a relative displacement cycle of a second part to a first part, two portions of the specimen attached to a first and a second attachment portion of the first and the second part, the specimen deformed from a first to a second shape state and back to the first shape state during the cycle; and a main body part the detachable part is detachably attached to; wherein state retaining means for fixing a relative position of the second to the first part in at least one shape state is freely attachable to the detachable part mounted on the main body part and the detachable part with the state retaining means is freely attachable to the main body part.

Abstract: Provide is a deformation testing apparatus in which a sign of breakage of a specimen under a deformation test can be detected before an actual breakage. The deformation testing apparatus carrying out a plurality of deformation cycles includes an image capturing means; reference data storing means storing the reference data showing the deformation state calculated based on the reference image data shot by the image capturing means; reference cycle number deformation data calculating means to calculate the reference data; detection cycle number deformation data calculating means to calculate detection cycle number deformation data showing the deformation state based on the detection image data shot at the detection cycle number being larger than the reference cycle number; and change detection means to detect that the deformation caused in the specimen is changed based on the reference cycle number deformation data and the detection cycle number deformation data.

Abstract: A folding test machine to measure the durability against folding can be operated by minor adjustment even if a radius of curvature of the folding or an arc length of the folding is changed. A fixed wall and a moveable wall are opposingly provided in an approximately box-shaped frame and a holding part to hold a workpiece is provided on the top of each of the fixed wall and the moveable wall in a rotatable manner in a vertical plane of the rotation. And the workpiece and a plate spring are held on the respective opposing end portions so as to be bridged between the fixed wall and the moveable wall in a curved manner such that the moveable wall is moved closer to and farther from the fixed wall repeatedly such that the work is folded repeatedly.
