摘要： A scheme for analyzing businesses and generating business leads is disclosed. A list of company websites can be gathered from a plurality of data sources and combined to produce an aggregated list of companies. Content from the websites of the companies in the list is extracted and stored. Contact information may automatically be ascertained from the website content, if available. The stored content extracted from the websites may then be analyzed to detect the presence of particular features. The listing of companies may then be filtered to produce a subset of businesses that represent potential business leads. The business leads may be provided to a company seeking such leads, and may optionally be provided to an automated marketing system, which is configured to generate and transmit commercial advertisements to the businesses identified as leads.
