摘要: A cylinder head gasket 1 is sandwiched between a cylinder head 2 and a cylinder block 3 with a cylinder bore 4 and includes a substrate 10 with a combustion chamber hole 14 drilled at a position of the cylinder bore 4, and seal plates 11 to 13, the substrate 10 and the seal plates are stacked on one another. Fixation members 21 and 22 are secured to the substrate around a periphery of the combustion chamber hole. The seal plates include an engagement hole 23 formed therein and with which the fixation members are engaged. The engagement hole is engaged with the fixation members. The fixation members are sandwiched between the cylinder head and the cylinder block. The cylinder head and the cylinder block can be firmly coupled together via the fixation members.

This allows deformation of the cylinder block caused by explosion pressure in an engine to be suppressed. As a result, possible degradation of sealability can be prevented.

摘要: A cylinder head gasket 1 includes at least one first seal plate 11 held between a cylinder head 2 and a cylinder block 3 having a cylinder bore 4, and the first seal plate 11 includes a combustion chamber hole 13 bored at a position of the cylinder bore 4 and a first full bead 11a surrounding the combustion chamber hole. In the first seal plate 11, a first step 11b U-shaped in section is formed at a position surrounding the combustion chamber hole outside of the first full bead 11a, and a filler 21 is charged in a recessed portion of the first step. Since the cylinder head and the cylinder block can be firmly connected via the step 11b, deformation of the cylinder block by explosion pressure of an engine can be suppressed, and thereby, reduction in sealing performance can be prevented.

摘要: A cylinder head gasket includes a first gasket base plate at a cylinder head side, a second gasket base plate at a cylinder block side, a shim that adjusts the gasket thickness, and a pressure increasing plate that increases the surface pressure at the side of periphery portions of the cylinders. In the first and second gasket base plates full beads are swollen at the side of periphery portions of cylinders, and half beads are swollen at a site outward of the full beads. The full beads of the first and second gasket base plates are formed so that top portions of the full beads face each other at positions that are opposite to each other in the up-down direction. The shim and the pressure increasing plate are sandwiched between the top portions.

摘要: A cylinder head gasket 1 includes at least two first and second seal plates 11 and 12 in which oil drop holes 4 are perforated, respectively. On the first and second seal plates, half beads 11a and 12a that endlessly surround the oil drop holes and that project in a direction toward each other to be mutually pressed are formed, and the oil drop holes are sealed by these half beads. Outside of the respective half beads, auxiliary beads 11c and 12c that project in a direction toward each other to be mutually pressed are formed. Projection directions of the half beads and the auxiliary beads may be opposite to each other. Since the respective auxiliary beads 11c and 12c give acting forces that press the respective half beads 11a and 12a against a cylinder head or a cylinder block, a better sealing property can be secured as compared with a conventional cylinder head gasket.
