摘要: An automated method of providing a pronunciation of a word to a remote device is disclosed. The method includes receiving an input indicative of the word to be pronounced. The method further includes searching a database having a plurality of records. Each of the records has an indication of a textual representation and an associated indication of an audible representation. At least one output is provided to the remote device of an audible representation of the word to be pronounced.

摘要: An accent detection system for automatically labeling accent in a large speech corpus includes a first classifier which analyzes words in the speech corpus and automatically labels accents to provide first accent labels. A second classifier analyzes the words to automatically label accent of the words to provide second accent labels. A comparison engine compares the first and second accent labels. Accent labels that indicate agreement between the first and second classifiers are provided as final accent labels. When there is disagreement between the first and second classifiers, a third classifier analyzes the words and provides the final accent labels.

摘要: Various embodiments utilize a layout viewport and a visual viewport separate from the layout viewport. The layout viewport is utilized for such things as page layout operations and reporting Document Object Model values to script. The layout viewport can be thought of as an initial rectangle which is equivalent in size to the initial containing block. The initial containing block is a containing block that contains web content that is initially visible to the user. The visual viewport is separate from the layout viewport and is allowed to be freely manipulated relative to the layout viewport. For example, the visual viewport may “push” the layout viewport around when it collides with the layout viewport boundaries. The visual viewport can be thought of as the rectangle that is visible to the user.

摘要: A method and system for checking whether customer orders for transactions of financial instruments conform to business logic rules. Executable rule files are created and stored in a repository. New executable rule files can be created by scripting the new business logic rules in a script file which is converted into a corresponding source code file written in a computer programming language. The source code file is compiled to create an individual executable rule file. A rule selection repository contains identification of groups of selected executable rule files. The invention determines the category of the customer order and reads, from the rule selection repository, a group of executable rule files that correspond to the identified category of the customer order. The selected executable rule files are executed to check the conformance of the customer order. Execution results are stored in a status repository for subsequent retrieval and analysis.
