摘要： An input method for an electronic device and a related input system are provided. When an optical pointer irradiates light rays with a specific pattern, photo sensors disposed in a display unit of the device detect the irradiated light rays. The device determines and generates pattern information corresponding to a pattern of the light rays, a pattern direction, and a pattern movement. The device executes or controls a function according to the pattern information and a function table, which maps the pattern information to the function.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for controlling a display and a display using the same. The method includes: detecting the approach of a user's hand to the display unit, determining a user's input hand shape; and displaying a display screen corresponds to the determined user's input hand shape. Through the present invention, a user may render a higher menu list and a lower menu list to be displayed on one screen, and may control display screen shift direction and speed, merely by performing a finger extending and folding action. Further, the user may control the size of a display screen by inputting the finger extending and folding action.

摘要： A device and method for providing a user interface using information is provided. The device includes a display unit, a sensor and a controller. The display unit displays at least one graphic user interface (GUI). The sensor generate sa sensor signal according to a user's finger touch input. The controller receives the sensor signal from the sensor, identifies a touch area and an adjacent area based on the received sensor signal, generates touch finger shape-based information according to the identified touch area and the identified adjacent area, and controls the display unit to display the GUI according to the generated finger shape-based information.

The method for sharing data between network electronic devices, includes: searching network electronic devices located at a periphery of a user device when an input for performing a data sharing function is sensed; classifying the searched network electronic devices into transmission side network electronic devices and reception side network electronic devices; allotting the searched network electronic devices to a first region for receiving data and a second region for transmitting the data, respectively; and configuring and displaying a user interface for a data sharing function based on the network electronic devices allotted to the first region and the second regions.
