摘要： A client apparatus and method using a multimedia streaming service supporting technology that controls streaming communication with a streaming server on the basis of a buffer level independently from a pause/resuming input of a user are provided. The method includes: measuring a buffer level of a buffer of a streaming client which temporarily stores streaming data received from a streaming server; and controlling, independently from a user's input, streaming communication with the streaming server according to the measured buffer level.
