摘要： An antithrombogenic material having its surface modified by ion implantation is disclosed. This antithrombogenic material may, for example, be a silicone material which has its surface modified by introducing functional groups on its surface by ion implantation. The material exhibits improved compatibility to blood due to introduction of the functional groups by ion implantation and the doping effect of the implanted elements.
