摘要： In a system for connecting a video signal recording/reproducing apparatus and a color TV receiver, two component signals--a luminace signal and a carrier chrominance signal--are transmitted separately from each other from the video signal recording/reproducing apparatus to the TV receiver. The video signal recording/reproducing apparatus has first and second output terminals for respectively outputting luminance and carrier chrominance signals obtained from a color video signal reproduced from a recording medium. The color TV receiver has first and second input terminals adapted to be respectively connected to the first and second output terminals of the video signal recording/reproducing apparatus for receiving the luminace and carrier chrominance signals. The color TV receiver may be provided with a switching circuit for selecting a composite video signal received in the conventional manner or the separately received two component signals.

摘要： A video tape recorder is provided which is capable of handling plural television standards. The tape recorder includes a video signal processing unit for recording and reproducing video signals selectively in plural television standards, a television standards converter for performing a conversion operation by converting a video signal in a first one of the television standards into a video signal of a second one of the television standards, and a convert control unit for controlling the conversion operation of the television standards converter to operate in (1) a recording mode to convert an input video signal in a first one of the television standards into a second one of the television standards and to provide the converted input video signal to the processing unit for recording and (2) a reproducing mode to convert a reproduced video signal, received from the processing unit, in a first one of the television standards into a second one of the television standards and to output the converted reproduced video signal.

摘要： A battery voltage level detecting apparatus makes possible the detection of the voltage level of a battery and the detection of a minimum operating voltage by means of a single comparison circuit and a single adjustment. A voltage varying with variation of the battery voltage is compared with an output voltage of a counter for counting reference clocks so as to control the counting operation. When a change occurs in the comparison result, a battery voltage level storage command is generated, and then the counter is preset. In response to the command, the count value is stored and displayed.
