    摘要: A fuel gas inlet is provided at an outer circumferential edge portion of a second separator. First fuel gas flow passage grooves for supplying a fuel gas to an anode electrode are formed on a side of a surface of the second separator. First fuel gas connecting flow passages, which make communication between the fuel gas inlet and the first fuel gas flow passage grooves, include flow passage lo grooves which are provided on a side of a surface, and through-holes which penetrate through the second separator to make communication with the first fuel gas flow passage grooves. Accordingly, excellent sealing performance is ensured with a simple structure, and it is possible to realize a thin-walled fuel cell.

    摘要: A fuel cell system comprises first and second fuel cell stacks in which directions of a positive electrode and a negative electrode of adjoining terminal electrodes are set to be opposite to one another. First and second conductive plates are incorporated at ends on an identical side of the first and second fuel cell stacks. First and second connecting plate sections are provided to extend from the first and second conductive plates closely to one another under the first and second fuel cell stacks. The first and second connecting plate sections are electrically connected by strand wires having flexibility. Accordingly, it is possible to reliably avoid any action of stress which would be otherwise caused by vibration or the like at a connecting portion for electrically connecting the first and second fuel cell stacks to one another which are arranged in parallel to one another.

    摘要: A fuel cell stack for reducing the bending of the stacked body in the stacking direction is disclosed, thereby preventing the interference between the stacked body built into a vehicle and other structures in the vehicle. The fuel cell stack comprises a stacked body having stacked unit fuel cells, each being placed between separators, wherein each unit fuel cell has an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte membrane placed therebetween; fastening plates provided at either end of the stacked body; an intermediate plate provided at an intermediate position of the stacked body; and bolt members inserted through the intermediate plate in the stacking direction in a manner such that the movement of the bolt members with respect to the intermediate plate in the direction perpendicular to the stacking direction is restricted. The stacked body is fastened together by fastening the fastening plates by using the bolt members.
