摘要： A liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes first and second substrates facing each other and having a display area and a non-display area, a sealant on a boundary between the display area and the non-display area to bond the first and second substrates, a first alignment layer on the display area of the first substrate, and a first dam in the display area of the first substrate inside the sealant to prevent spread of an alignment material of the first alignment layer.
