摘要： A fixing device includes: a fixing roll that is rotatable; a belt member that is stretched over the fixing roll; a pressurizing roll that pressurizes the fixing roll via the belt member; a belt pressing member that presses an outer surface of the belt member to the pressurizing roll from inside of the belt member on a downstream side at a pressure-contact position between the fixing roll and the pressurizing roll; and a controller that decrease a time difference between a passage time per unit area of a tip region of a recording medium and a passage time per unit area of a succeeding region of the recording medium to pass a pressure-contact portion between the fixing roll and belt pressing member and the pressurizing roll.

摘要： A fixing device includes: a belt member provided to be circularly movable having a width; a first fixing member disposed inside the belt member; a second fixing member disposed in press contact with the first fixing member across the belt member, and forms a passing portion with the belt member, through which a recording medium passes; and a pressing member disposed along a width direction of the belt member and downstream of the passing portion in a moving direction of the belt member, in which the pressing member has a surface and brings the surface in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the belt member to press the belt member against the second fixing member. The surface is curved toward the second fixing member along with a move from an end portion to a center portion in a longitudinal direction of the pressing member.

摘要： A fixing device includes an endless belt, a fixing rotating body that contacts with and separates from the belt and fixes an image formed on a recording medium nipped between the fixing rotating body and the belt while rotating in contact with the belt, a support member provided so that the belt slides on the support member during circulation, the support member supporting a load provided when the fixing rotating body is in contact with the belt so as to form a nip portion where the recording medium is nipped between the belt and the fixing rotating body, a guide member that guides the recording medium to separate the recording medium from the belt after the recording medium passes through the nip portion, and a moving unit that moves the guide member away from the belt along with separation of the fixing rotating body from the belt.
