    摘要: An image processing apparatus electrically corrects distortion of an input image to generate an output image. The image processing apparatus includes a correction processing section operable to sequentially read data of the input image for each pixel in an order of scanning, and perform distortion correction for each pixel of the output image using the read data of the pixel. The correction processing section outputs data of a pixel which distortion correction is completed, in an order different from an order of scanning.

    摘要: A photographing apparatus includes: a synchronizing signal generation portion (6); an imaging portion (1) that is operated based on a synchronizing signal to pick up an image and generate image data; a trigger input portion (18) operable to input a trigger signal for commanding a start of a photographing operation; and a control portion (5) that controls the operation of the imaging portion based on the synchronizing signal and the trigger signal. The control portion controls synchronous processing that is performed in synchronization with the synchronizing signal to pickup a moving image. When the trigger signal is input, the control portion immediately stops the generation of the synchronizing signal by the synchronizing signal generation portion when the synchronous processing is not being performed, while the control portion initializes the synchronous processing and then stops the generation of the synchronizing signal when the synchronous processing is being performed. Thereafter, the control portion resumes the generation of the synchronizing signal, and starts imaging for recording by the imaging portion. A time period between the generation of the trigger signal and the start of imaging is reduced, and a large variation therein is suppressed regardless of the state of the synchronous processing.

    摘要: An apparatus includes: a synchronizing signal generation portion outputting a synchronizing signal periodically; a diaphragm; an imaging portion operated based on the synchronizing signal to pick up a subject image through the diaphragm and generate image data; a trigger input portion operable to input a trigger signal commanding a start of a photographing operation by the imaging portion; and a control portion controlling the operation of the imaging portion. The control portion controls synchronous processing for operating the diaphragm in synchronization with the synchronizing signal. When the trigger signal is input, the control portion stops the generation of the synchronizing signal by the synchronizing signal generation portion and thereafter resumes the generation of the synchronizing signal, while when the synchronous processing is being performed, the control portion initializes the synchronous processing before resuming the generation of the synchronizing signal.

    摘要: A white balance adjustment apparatus for adjusting red, green and blue video signals of an aiming subject has amplifiers for amplifying the R, G, B video signals, respectively, a brightness detector for detecting the brightness of the subject, and a mode selector for selecting either an outdoor lighting mode or an indoor lighting mode in accordance with the brightness detected by the brightness detector. A white detector is provided for receiving the R, G, B video signals for each pixel and detecting a pixel with R, G, B video signals that falls in a narrow white range when the outdoor lighting mode is selected, and in a wide white range when the indoor lighting mode is selected. An integrator integrates the number of detected pixels in the white range. A white balance gain control controls the gain of the amplifiers based on the integrated result of the integrator.

The imaging apparatus drives vertical transfer registers with no signal charge from photoelectric transducers read out to the vertical transfer registers to obtain and store a correction signal into a field memory. The apparatus subtracts the correction signal from the image data by a subtractor.
