    摘要： Occurrence of a protuberance due to swelling of superabsorbent resin is prevented in an absorbent article.An absorbent article includes: a fluid-permeable surface sheet; a fluid-impermeable back face sheet; and a liquid-absorbent core that is between the surface sheet and the back face sheet and that includes hydrophilic fiber and superabsorbent resin, the liquid-absorbent core having a plurality of through holes formed thereon and high-density regions, the high-density regions being each provided at a position adjacent to each of the through holes, a density of the superabsorbent resin in each of the high-density regions being higher than in another region.

    摘要： A device that applies adhesive on one side of a continuous sheet that travels, by acting air discharged from an air discharge hole of a head on the adhesive discharged from an adhesive discharge hole of the head. The device includes a first air curtain forming member positioned at a location on a downstream side of the head in a direction of travel of the continuous sheet, to oppose the head with a space therebetween, and forms a first air curtain by emitting air toward the one side of the continuous sheet. The device includes a pair of second air curtain forming members positioned at locations at outer sides from head in a width direction of the continuous sheet, to respectively oppose the head with spaces therebetween, and forms second air curtains by emitting air toward the one side of the continuous sheet.

    摘要： A bodily fluid absorbent article adapted to absorb bodily fluid over a wide range thereof. An absorbent structure in the bodily fluid absorbent article includes an upper absorbent component and a lower absorbent component. The absorbent structure further includes one of a dispersing surface constituting the upper absorbent component and kept in contact with the lower absorbent component and a dispersing surface constituting the lower absorbent component and kept in contact with the upper absorbent component. Such dispersing surface exhibits a dispersion velocity for bodily fluid higher than those exhibited by the absorbent sections defined immediately above and under this dispersing surface.
