摘要： A seat slide device for a vehicle includes a lower rail, an upper rail and a shoe. The shoe includes a base portion attached to an engaging portion of one of the rails and a slide portion slidable along an engaged portion of the other rail. The slide portion and the base portion are integrally formed with one another. The slide portion contacts the base portion when a load equal to or greater than a predetermined load is applied, and the base portion has a surface possessing a shape which increases the contact area with the slide portion when the load increases.

摘要： A seat back reclining mechanism for a vehicle seat includes an upper and lower brackets respectively secured to the seat back and the seat cushion. A reduction gear mechanism is provided between the upper and lower brackets for a stepless adjustment of the reclining angle. An actuating knob is located at one side of the seat cushion for the convenience of operation. A belt-sprocket type motion transmitting mechanism is provided between the actuating knob and the reduction gear mechanism for transmitting a rotation of the knob to the gear mechanism. In order to prevent the seat back from being inclined under the load applied by the passenger, a constraining device is provided for preventing the motion transmitting mechanism from transmitting the force from the reduction gear mechanism.

摘要： In a seat sliding device, an upper rail slidably moveable relative a lower rail interlocks with the lower rail upon movement of the upper rail away from the lower rail. An upwardly inclined portion and a downwardly inclined portion can be provided on the upper rail and the lower rails, respectively. A spacer element is provided between the upwardly inclined portion of the upper rail and a corner of the lower rail. The inclined portions and the spacer elements interlock upon movement of the upper rail away from the lower rail. Due to sufficient area being provided between the interlocking portions, separation of the upper rail from the lower rail can be prevented.

摘要： A spring coupler comprises a casing, a drive member rotatably mounted within the casing including a main portion and a core portion fixedly connected thereto by staking manner, a driven member rotatably mounted within the casing including a main portion and a core portion fixedly connected thereto by stacking manner and engageable with the core portion of the drive member upon rotation thereof, and a coil spring disposed between the drive member and the casing so as to be engaged frictionally with the casing in the free state thereof and including a first tang and a second tang. In this spring coupler, the first tang and the second tang of the coil spring are engaged with the core portion of the drive member in rotation in one direction and the other direction respectively before the drive member is brought into engagement with the core of the driven member thereby reducing the radius of the coil spring whereas the first tang and the second tang of the coil spring are engaged with the core portion of the driven member in rotation in one direction and the other direction respectively, thereby expanding the radius of the coil spring. The main portion and the core portion are fixedly connected with each other by staking manner so that less time and less cumbersome operations are required for assembling the drive member and/or the driven member.
