摘要： A mounting apparatus for retaining a data storage device (60) in a computer includes a bracket (10) and a driving member (30). The data storage device defines a locking hole (63) therein. The bracket includes a first side panel (12) and a second side panel (11) for mounting the data storage device therebetween. A resilient retaining member (126) is formed at the first side panel (12). A retaining tab (1264) is formed on a free end of the retaining member corresponding to the locking hole of the data storage device. The driving member is pivotably attached on the first side panel. An actuating portion (373) is formed on the driving member for urging movement of the retaining member.

摘要： A computer enclosure includes a chassis (10) and a hood (20). A fastener (30) is movably attached to the chassis. The fastener defines an opening (35) and a slot (37) which are defined in different planes. The hood includes a tab (25) corresponding to the opening, and a hook (27) corresponding to the slot. The tab and the hook extend in directions corresponding to the opening and the slot respectively for inserting therein respectively. The tab is inserted into the opening for aligning the hook with the slot, whereupon the hook is inserted into the slot for securing the hood to the chassis.

摘要： A mounting apparatus is provided for a data storage device defining a mounting hole. The mounting apparatus includes a bracket for accommodating the data storage device and a locking latch. The bracket includes a side plate forming a cantilever thereon. A receiving portion is formed at a free end of the cantilever. The locking latch is pivotally attached to the side plate. The locking latch has an initial position parallel to the side plate. A projecting portion extends from the locking member, and is received by the receiving portion of the cantilever. A securing member is formed on the locking latch. When the locking latch is pivoted away from the side plate, the cantilever is distorted to store a potential elastic energy for urging the locking latch to move back to the initial position, thereby the securing member engaging into the mounting hole of the data storage device.

摘要： A mounting assembly includes a chassis having a rear wall, a cover slidably mounted to the chassis in a first direction, and a clamping member mounted on the cover. The rear wall has a positioning portion thereon. The clamping member has a cantilever thereon. The cantilever has a locking portion at a free end thereof for engaging with the positioning portion, and a pressing portion at an opposite end thereof for urging the locking portion to disengage from the positioning portion. When the pressing portion of the clamping member is pressed downward in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the locking portion is raised, thereby disengaging the locking portion from the positioning portion of the chassis.
