    Abstract: A system and method for implementing a CDN based on SDN are provided. The method includes: a complete service logic function of the CDN is added on an application layer of the SDN, and an application unit sends a resource requirement request and service orchestration request to an orchestration unit when receiving a CDN application request; the orchestration unit performs service orchestration in combination with related information of the SDN, sends a reservation request to a control unit to obtain a required resource, and then determines content distribution and content delivery paths in combination with network load balancing and routing condition; an L2 and L3 forwarding table is created and transmitted to a data forwarding unit according to related forwarding policy of an SDN control plane; and the application unit executes a related operation according to a content distribution or media access request, and the data forwarding unit forwards data.

    Abstract: A software-defined network-based method and system for implementing a content distribution network. An application function, control function, and network entity resource of a CDN are added respectively to an application layer, control layer, and data forwarding layer of an SDN. When a request for a CDN application is received, the SDN application layer generates resource requirement and service scheduling information based on the request, and transmits a reservation request for a resource required by the CDN application to an SDN control layer. The SDN control layer allocates a resource required by the CDN application to combine network load balancing and path policies and to generate a content routing table for data transmission, generating and transmitting L2 and L3 forwarding tables to the SDN data forwarding layer. When it receives content distribution and content delivery requests, the SDN data forwarding layer executes a CDN service-related operation based on the forwarding tables.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and system for sending media data in telepresence technology. By collecting audio or video data corresponding to a spatial area, the collected data is processed respectively to acquire multiple streams of data distinguished by a collecting spatial area and corresponding collecting spatial information; the multiple streams of data are encoded, encoded multiple streams of audio data and the collecting spatial information are packed together, and/or encoded multiple streams of video data and the collecting spatial information are packed together, and a packet including multiple streams of audio or video data is sent, respectively. The present disclosure also discloses a method and system for playing media data in telepresence technology. With the methods and systems, it is possible to directly identify the corresponding collecting spatial area, i.e., a corresponding playing location in the process of data transmission, which enables a conferee at a receiving end to experience auditory positioning and an immersive sensation. Further, the problem of synchronization among the multiple streams of audio or video data is solved effectively.

    Abstract: A bandwidth adjustment method is disclosed. The source node receives an adjustment command issued by a network management server, all nodes on the path are triggered to adjust a forward transmission bandwidth parameter of the Optical Service Unit (OSU) respectively, so the network management server does not need to issue adjustment commands to all the nodes on the path, thereby simplifying the process of the bandwidth adjustment. Further, the source node enters an adjustment mode corresponding to the OSU, and sequentially sends the first message to the downstream node until the sink node, so that each node on the path enters the adjustment mode corresponding to OSU, and then exits the adjustment mode corresponding to the OSU after performing corresponding adjustment on the forward transmission bandwidth parameter of the OSU, thereby realizing a synchronous adjustment of all nodes on the path based on the adjustment mode corresponding to the OSU.
