    摘要: An indication apparatus for indicating temperature status of a motherboard includes a detection module, a comparison module, a switch module, and an indication module. The detection module detects temperatures of the motherboard, and converts the detected temperatures to voltage signals. The comparison module receives the voltage signals, compares the voltage signals with a first reference voltage, and outputs control signals according to a comparison result. The switch module receives the control signals, and turns on or off according to the control signals. The indication module indicates temperature states of the motherboard when the switch module turns on or off.

    摘要: A motherboard assembly of a computer includes a motherboard (80) and an expansion device. The expansion device is connected to the motherboard. The expansion device includes a BIOS chip (10), a first connector (20) and at least one second connector (30). The first connector is connected to a socket (40) mounted on the motherboard. The second connector is capable of connecting to a burning device (90) for restoring the BIOS chip. The BIOS chip is connected to the first connector, the second connector, and to a signal choice terminal of the motherboard which acts to access the BIOS chip through the first connector and the socket such that the BIOS chip of the expansion device can replace a BIOS chip mounted on the motherboard to be accessed when the computer is powered up to be tested, thereby protecting the BIOS chip mounted on the motherboard being damaged in test.

    摘要: A circuit is used to indicate different statuses of a component of a computer system. The circuit includes a port, an indicating device, and a control circuit. The port outputs different signals corresponding to different statuses of the component. The indicating device includes a first indicator and a second indicator each of which includes a positive end and a negative end. The positive end of the second indicator is connected to the negative end of the first indicator, and the negative end of the second indicator is connected to the positive end of the first indicator. The control circuit includes an input terminal, and a pair of output terminals connected to opposite ends of the first indicator. A polarity of an electric potential difference between the pair of output terminals is switched between negative and positive polarities according to the signal outputted by the port.
