摘要： A sewer inspection and/or maintenance system is provided comprising an inspection and/or maintenance unit and a control and/or display unit, wherein the control and/or display unit is coupled operatively to the inspection and/or maintenance unit via a twisted-pair cable comprising copper. The inspection and/or maintenance unit comprises an imaging unit, which is coupled operatively to a processing unit comprising a digital signal processor (DSP) or an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) of the inspection and/or maintenance unit. The processing unit is coupled operatively to the twisted pair cable, and the processing unit is adapted to digitalize and to compress the image data received from the imaging unit to prepare the digitalized and compressed image data for a transmission according to the BroadR-Reach standard, and to transmit the prepared image data according to the BroadR-Reach standard via the twisted pair cable to the control and/or display unit.

摘要： An inspection system comprising an inspection and/or maintenance device and a monitoring device is provided. The inspection and/or maintenance device is operationally connected to the monitoring device via a wired communication connection, and the inspection and/or maintenance device has at least one image recording system, the at least one image recording system provides digital video data and the inspection and/or maintenance device has a transmitting device which is operationally coupled to the at least one image recording system and to the communication connection, and the monitoring device has a receiving device which is operationally coupled to the communication connection. The transmitting device and the receiving device are adapted to transmit the digital video data at least via a sub-section of the communication connection in an analog manner according to an AHD standard. Also provided is a method for transmitting digital video data is provided.

摘要： A cable reel is provided, in particular for a pipe inspection system, the cable reel having a frame and a cable receptacle. The cable receptacle is rotatably arranged on the frame, it being possible to wind a cable onto the cable receptacle and unwind it from the cable receptacle. The cable receptacle has an inner cage and an outer cage, with the diameter of the inner cage being smaller than the diameter of the outer cage. The inner cage is arranged coaxially with respect to the outer cage and is inside the outer cage. It is possible to rotate the inner cage and the outer cage independently of one another, and the inner cage is receives a first cable portion of the cable and the outer cage receives a second cable portion of the cable.
