摘要： A cigarette holder for filter-less or hand rolled cigarettes that comprises a hollow tube with a flange extending from its end and at least one spring which presses directly or indirectly against the proximate side of the flange. The spring is compressed and the flanged tube is inserted into the end of a cigarette. The spring is then released and it extends to secure the paper from the cigarette around the outside of the tube and against the flange. The cigarette is then held firmly in place such that it extends away from both the fingers and the lips with the cigarette holder's tube is in its interior.

Embodiments of the present invention allow the holder to be reversed following smoking of a first portion of the cigarette such that it enables smokers to light partially-smoked cigarettes safely and easily, allows them to smoke more of the sometimes-high-cost smokable material easily, avoid tasting bitterness of a saliva-stained cigarette and share a pleasurable smoke among friends as desired. Embodiments of the present invention also include disclosure of methods for safe, proper and efficient use of embodiments of the device to enhance smoking pleasure.

摘要： A biodegradable cigar tip comprises an open upstream end configured to surround a downstream end of a cigar, the cigar tip having a mouth end optionally comprising a substantially flat cross-section, the cigar tip comprising a molded biodegradable material. The biodegradable material may consist of pressed cellulosic fibers with an outer surface of the cigar tip coated with a plastic film, wax coating or other waterproof coating such as a sugarcane pulp film. Alternatively, the biodegradable material may consist of an injection molded biodegradable resin such as a starch-filled resin wherein the starch-filled resin includes polypropylene or polyethylene and non-soluble starch selected from corn, tapioca, wheat, potato, plant sourced oligomer, or plant sourced polysaccharide or mixture thereof.

摘要： A tobacco product holder for holding a tobacco product such as a cigarette, cigar or the like conveniently and removably interfaces with a base or stand and is easily held to permit the tobacco product in its grasp to be consumed, reducing the potential of injury to the fingers which would be present if the tobacco product was held by one's fingers. In some embodiments, the tobacco product holder has two elongate, spring-like arms which embrace and grip the smoking article when the arms are compressed or squeezed by the user. In spring-like compression, when the compressive force exerted by the fingers of the user is relaxed, the device retains the tobacco product and becomes a light weight “handle”, permitting it to be held by holding the tobacco product holder. The tobacco product holder adjustably accommodates smoking articles of different diameters such as cigarettes and cigars.

摘要： An integral cigarette holder and sheath or cover for a cigarette is disclosed in which the sheath or cover is formed of telescoped members. The cigarette is inserted within the holder and the telescoped cover is extended to permit a portion of the cigarette to be smoked.
