    摘要： An article of footwear may include an upper, a sole, and a removable cleat member. The sole may include at least one base member disposed in the sole, the base member including a fastener receiving portion, the fastener receiving portion may include at least one female thread. The cleat member may include a cleat body having a ground-engaging end and an opposite fastening end. A fastening portion is configured to extend from the fastening end of the cleat body. The fastening portion may engage with the fastener receiving portion of the base member, the fastening portion including a post and the thread including a draft angle. The thread of the cleat member may be configured to engage with the female thread of the base member.

    摘要： A traction element arrangement for a sole structure of an article of footwear is described. Traction elements of a first group are associated with a lateral side of the sole structure. Traction elements of a second group are associated with a medial side of the sole structure. Traction elements of the second group include multiple medial rotational traction elements that each have a plurality of individual traction elements arranged in a circular grouping. Each circular grouping is a different size to provide more or less rotational movement to the associated portion of the sole structure. In one embodiment, the shape of the traction elements corresponds to the shape of the circular grouping.

The cleat system can include at least three sets of cleat members that can be interchanged over different portions of the outer sole member.

A customizable stud may generally include a fastening member formed of a fastening member cap and fastening member shaft, a plurality of rings, and a washer. The fastening member cap and the plurality of rings define the ground interaction characteristics of the stud. To vary the ground interaction characteristics, the contour, height, and material makeup of the stud may be altered by varying the shape, number, thickness, length, and material of the rings. The stud components may be sold as a kit with at least one fastening member and a plurality of rings with varying characteristics. The kit may also include at least one washer.

    摘要： A cleat for footwear. The cleat includes a base layer that attaches to the outsole of the footwear, a cushioning layer and a traction element layer. The traction element layer is attached to the base layer solely by the cushioning layer. Each of the cleat layers provides friction with the ground when the cleat engages the ground. The durometer of the base layer and the durometer of the traction element layer are greater than the durometer of the cushioning layer. When a user steps on a surface wearing a shoe outfitted with these cleats, the resilience of the cushioning layer at once both lessens the impact of the traction elements on the ground surface and lessens the reaction force on the user's foot transmitted through the shoe's outsole. The user's comfort is thereby enhanced.
