    摘要： A decorative earring sleeve is disclosed, the decorative earring sleeve for slidable engagement with an earring of the type having an elongated, curved loop for insertion into a person's pierced ear. The decorative earring sleeve includes a plurality of decorative settings, each of which includes a front viewing surface and an opposing back surface. Each back surface includes an annular ringlet for receiving the curved loop of the earring. A plurality of flexible connectors are further included, the connectors being attached between each decorative setting. Preferably each connector further includes an elastic portion, such that the decorative settings are each urged toward each other linearly. In use, the ringlet of each decorative setting may be slid over the loop of the earring, in turn, such that each viewing surface is oriented away from the person's ear to enhance the appearance of the earring.

    摘要： The present invention provides a prongless setting for mounting a gemstone and a method of manufacturing the same. The setting includes a base that is formed from a flat piece of metal, which is bent into the shape of a box having an open top. Two arcuate members are provided along the top edges of the box. A gemstone is placed into the open top of the box and the two arcuate members are bent over the top of the stone to retain it in the setting. The present invention further provides for the method of stamping the blank that is suited for bending into the setting described above. Finally, the present invention provides for forming a chain using a plurality of settings and gemstones that can be further incorporated into a finished piece of jewelry.

    摘要： A necklace comprises an elongated strand consisting of a series of interconnected links of a polygonal cross section with the depending free ends of the strand spaced apart. A series of spaced housings are non-rotatably mounted upon the strand for selective longitudinal adjustment. Opposed walls of each housing having an aperture therethrough of a corresponding polygonal shape to cooperatively engage the strand. Each housing has an end wall and an open end including an ornament facing outwardly of the strand. A resilient spacer is interposed in compression between the end wall and strand for yieldably retaining the housing against longitudinal movement relative to the strand. A pair of housings on the strand are laterally spaced apart and interconnected.
