摘要： Retainers hold a fiber bundle rotated through a length of the retainer via a gap in the retainer that can be widened by stretching the same and closed by release and further by rotating the fiber. The retainer may be single-piece parallelepiped, cylinder, prism, etc. bearing an outermost surface on which the bundle can wind and be supported. The retainer is fabricated of a resilient elastic like natural rubber or a synthetic rubber such as styrene-butadiene rubber. Methods pass the bundle through the gap and then wind it around the retainer before passing it back through the gap. The bundle may be inserted and/or wound for any length of the bundle and may include spacing in each turn so as to expose the underlying retainer through each turn. The bundle may be held in the wound position for any desired amount of time and then removed.

摘要： The finger sleeve hair curler tool is a cloth hair curling tool accessorized with a removable curl template spool. It provides an improved method of hair curling and also functions as a novel hair accessory and ponytail holder. Piece 1 is a finger-sized fabric sleeve which is closed on one end; the open end flaring to create two lobed appendages beyond the rim of the opening, each of which has a fingertip fastener aperture. The user slips the sleeve over an index finger, coils a hair section around the sleeved finger, and secures the hair within the curler via the fingertip fastener apertures using a variety of techniques for the desired results. Piece 2 of the system is a rigid finger-shaped curl template spool which the user may alternately use as a framework to slip the fabric sleeve over, thus accommodating a greater range of hair-rolling techniques and results.

摘要： An expandable curler is provided to facilitate hair winding, because strain imparted by the curler to the hairs no longer depends on the strain applied by the operator during winding and where possible differences in strain caused by humidity or by drying are compensated by the curler, which consequently expands or contracts itself. The curler includes a body split in two or more rigid longitudinal sectors forming together a winding surface to receive an amount of wound hairs in a contracted configuration. Locking members of the sectors are also included in the contracted configuration and an elastic member, housed inside said sectors, are configured to apply a predetermined elastic force on said sectors, expanding the winding surface and determining a strain state at the wound hairs until reaching a balance between inner elastic force and strain applied to the wound hairs, when the locking members are deactivated.
