摘要： A hair accessory is provided for producing wavy hair. In one embodiment a hair accessory comprises a hair molding body made up of separate first and second portions which pivot about at least one hinge. The first and second portions respectively define first and second interior surfaces which cooperatively define a wave shaped mold for producing wavy hair. The first and second portions can be forced towards each other using at least one elastic band tied around the exterior of the hair molding body to force the first and second portions towards each other. In the alternative, the at least one hinge is preferably at least one spring hinge that biases the first and second portions together. In a second embodiment the hair accessory lacks a hinge.

摘要： A hair ornament includes a body having an engagement section to be in contact with hair of a user. The engagement section includes a row of plates arranged along a length direction of the body. Two of the row of plates adjacent to each other are connected by a connecting member having first and second ends. The first end of each connecting member is pivotably connected to one of two adjacent plates. The second end of each connecting member is pivotably connected to the other of the two adjacent plates. A spacing between two adjacent plates is adjustable by pivoting the two adjacent plates to adjust an overall length of the body in the length direction of the body.

The first and second end clasp members each have a passageway therethrough into which a corresponding body portion end extends with the body portion ends each having a passage blocking object thereon, and being sufficiently narrow to prevent the body end extending therethrough with a blocking object thereon from passing through that narrow part. The blocking member can be a spherical shaped solid wedging the body portion ends into a tapered sides portion of the passageway in each clasp member.
