摘要： A storage case and organizing insert for needlecraft material and accessories is disclosed. The organizer and storage case comprises a box-like container together with a replaceable organizer insert removably contained within the container.The removable organizer insert comprises a generally rectangular member constructed of a material which is easily penetrable by sewing needles. The top and bottom surfaces of the organizer insert are overlaid with material which is also easily penetrable by a needle. An organizational grid is provided on the material overlaying each of the top and bottom surfaces of the organizer insert.The organizational grids are provided with various rectangular spaces to serve as guides for locating the threaded needles and further provided with smaller areas for entering identification information such as thread numbers or symbols.The organizer insert may be removed with threaded needles attached for storage elsewhere or for replacement with another organizer insert for use on the current project.

摘要： A yarn keeper has a front, back, two sides, bottom and top provided as discs. Most of the discs are joined at sew lines with at least one gap separating adjacent sew lines which provide access into an interior of the yarn keeper. The top is hingedly connected to the back and selectively securable relative to the front which provides the ability to insert a yarn ball therein and then the user can direct a yarn strand through a gap for use. The keeper has a storage configuration in which the sides, front and back are inwardly folded so that the top and bottom remain parallel, but closer together so that it could possibly preferably fit within a tote. The tote has an interior defined by zipper portions, sides, bottom and front and back with the zipper potion terminating intermediate the sides allowing items such as long needles to extend beyond the zipper portions.

摘要： This invention concerns a spool of thread which has no disposable residue. More specifically, the spool is formed of a cylinder of a knitted web of the thread which is easily unraveled as the thread is used and fed from one end. The method of making the package comprises forming a generally flat knitted web into a compact, generally cylindrical body comprising only the thread. This package is then labelled and shipped for eventual use. This product is particularly useful in that there is no residue. When the thread is used up, so is the package.

摘要： An embroidery project accessory carrying case for conveniently transporting the materials for at least one embroidery or other needlework project. The carrying case has a flexible backing sheet with storage pockets at each end. One end of the backing sheet includes a main pocket and a secondary pocket with a single flap to close both pockets, these pockets being adapted to receive the tools and bulky items of needlework materials. The other end of the backing sheet includes a large pocket and a shallow pocket. The large pocket is adapted to receive pattern books and the like while the shallow pocket receives a supply of thread. Fastening devices are attached to the carrying case such that the backing sheet can be folded twice--into thirds--and fastening devices will hold the case in this condition; and, the backing sheet can be folded once--into half--and the fastening devices will hold the case in this condition. The case can be bent backwards or laid flat for access to the materials.

摘要： A portable lap-supported work station for bead stringing and bead weaving is provided. In one embodiment, the work station includes a tray configured as a design board having a lower surface to which a pillow is directly attached. In another embodiment, the work station includes a rectangular base and two flocked trays (or boards) which nestably and preferably snap-fit into the base. One tray is configured as a design board that is adapted for bead stringing. The second tray is configured for bead weaving. In the lower portion of the base beneath the trays, a storage compartment is provided. Preferably, the bottom exterior surface portions of the base are provided with a pillow adapted to rest upon the lap of the user. A handle along a longitudinal exterior side of the base permits the combination of pillow, base and boards to be transported or stored.

摘要： A portable carrying case made of a fabric and having two panels connected by a fold is provided including an arrangement of several strips of hook-fastener material to which various inserts can be attached using corresponding strips of loop-fastener material. One of the panel surfaces has a mesh material layer permanently attached to it to hold elongated objects. The inserts can include single and multi-pocket pouches and a single sheet having fleece on one side, each of which has a strip of loop-fastener material used to fasten to corresponding hook-fastener strips inside the case. The case can be closed with pair of hook-and-loop fastener strips or by a zipper that can enclose three sides of the case. An additional external pouch can be attached onto the outside of the case using a pair of ribbons that are part of the external pouch.

摘要： A box for storing embroidery floss and supplies includes a plurality of cells for receiving flat spools of skeins of floss, and an enlarged compartment for receiving embroidery accessories.
